Description

Black magnetic particles for crack detection. WS CRACK 4 is a direct product to apply on ferritic (metal) welded parts,  for finding a discontinuity in the magnetic field, thus finding the crack in the workpiece. Due to the small particle size and magnetic fields, it allows a very accurate detection of defects.

Application

• All types of welded pieces of ferritic nature.
• Clean the surface of the piece to be analyzed.
• If the surface is black, apply the product WS CRACK 5 Contrast lacquer.
• If the surface is a light color, proceed to the next step.
• Magnetize the piece in question.
• Shake the product WS CRACK 4 black magnetic particles for 30 seconds and apply in
• the area to be analyzed.
• Important: the piece must be magnetized during the entire test process.
