Table tops are not pickled as this can have a tendancy to make tthm bright and the light/flash produced during welding can be more likely to be reflected and bouce of the table material making it more difficult for the welder when working. The table tops are not coated or coloured as this can reduce the conductivity of the table for earthing purposes during welding. Tables are treated with an oil based preparation agent that protects them during transport and first use. We advised using anti spatter agents.

We carefully select our steel and it may appear blue or dark grey in colour depending on the steel batch. It is natural to have different colour shades in the one steel sheet, this is due to normal technological process during the steel production process, and does not affect the quality of the table.
