MIG 165A WELDING MACHINE
At 6kg, the MIG165 from VECTOR WELDING is a light and therefore mobile cored wire welding machine. The welding machine offers the option of welding with and without gas. The MIG165 can be operated completely without gas and can therefore be used very flexibly. For this you need no-gas welding wire. Due to its chemical composition, a protective atmosphere is created during welding, the supply of gas is not necessary. In addition, the MIG165 has a gas connection, so you can weld using gas.
The welding process with its automatic wire feed is suitable for many welding applications, including work in hard-to-reach places. The device delivers 30-165A in MIG mode, 30-160A in MMA mode (electrode welding) and 10-160A in the optional TIG mode.
Description
MIG 165A FEATURES & BENEFITS:
- Welding with automatic wire feed . With and without gas!
- The wire feed speed can be controlled via the volts: a higher volt leads to a slower wire feed, lower volts speeds up the wire feed. A big advantage if an individual setting is desired.
- Inductance: The device has a continuously adjustable throttle. This smoothes the welding current and changes the rate of current rise to improve weld quality and precision.
- MMA/STICK/E-HAND: coated electrodes are used – in this process the electrodes are arc carriers and welding filler metal in one.
- Hotstart: every time the welding machine is restarted, overcurrent is provided and thereby supports the ignition of the arc.
- Arc Force: Melted material is transferred more easily to the workpiece. Prevents the arc from extinguishing if this material causes contact between the electrode and the melt pool.
- Anti-Stick automatically switches off the welding generator if the electrode sticks to the workpiece and needs to be removed by hand without damaging the electrode clamp.
- DC-TIG welding (optional: only possible with additional hose package and cables): Welding of almost all metals
- Lift Arc: Ignition occurs upon contact with the workpiece, then the torch can be raised and the welding process starts with the selected parameters.
- Modern IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) enables fast and therefore low-loss switching of electrical currents
- Overheating protection
